Sri Lanka Expo 2026 Sets Global Trade in Motion

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board today announced Sri Lanka Expo 2026, a strategic international exhibition designed to propel the nation’s export industries and attract global investment. Alongside the announcement, the official website, www.srilankaexpo.lk, was launched to enable local exporters and international buyers to register seamlessly.

Scheduled for June 18–21, 2026, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, the expo will highlight Sri Lanka’s diverse industrial, agricultural, and service exports, including apparel, gems, tea, spices, ICT services, and renewable energy. Around 750 local exporters and 1,500 international participants are expected, spanning investors, buyers, and media representatives.

The launch event at Cinnamon Life, Colombo, was attended by senior officials, diplomats, and industry leaders, including Minister Sunil Handunnetti and EDB Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe, who emphasized the expo as a strategic gateway for market expansion, global partnerships, and showcasing Sri Lanka’s business resilience and talent.

Sri Lanka Expo 2026 will feature investor forums, sector-specific sessions, B2B meetings, fashion shows, culinary showcases, and cultural events, positioning Sri Lanka as a leading trade and investment hub in South Asia. The initiative also aligns with national ambitions, including a USD 36 billion export target by 2030. Partners include Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and SriLankan Airlines.
